Well, it turns out I am a libertarian. Who'd have thought? I really like nearly all of what they say, but I think one of the big things holding me back is the lukewarm stance on the abortion issue. I would disagree with some stances on drug laws, as well, but that is an absolutely miniscule point, comparatively. Unfortunately for prolifers, republicanism is the only game in town. Which is unfortunate because I really like a lot of the things libertarianism stands for - much more so than the republican party. I could really get behind this group. I thought it was an interesting quiz. Maybe other people can try it and compare results?
Comments:
The LP is about 65-35 on abortion, but the party's general philosophy is that if there is any question about it, there probably shouldn't be a federal policy.
You could try the Constitution Party.

65-35 for or against? I checked out the constitution party, but they seemed rather extreme. I agreed with a lot of things, but they always took the issues farther than I thought was really prudent. They are not bad... I just think some of the stuff might be a little unrealistic.
65 pro-life, 35 pro choice.
The party is based on personal, inherent rights. Despite the enternally-discussed fetus-right factor, the majority of the party leans towards the "no federal" default.
The CP is a little crazy, they are. They're better than Republicans, though.
Anything LP, though, don't hesitate to ask me.
