which do you normally think of when useing this term?

which do you normally think of when useing this term?
Comments:
I guess both, but I primarily think of it as being very shy, but perhaps with a negative twist, almost like elitism. Like "Nobody is good/cool enough to associate with so-and-so". Like the goth kids on South Park... "Shut up, conformist" Hilarious...:)
