anna- I was just curious... did you take these pictures? Where were they taken? I am a bit confused with the captions. What do they mean? Is it what you were thinking/feeling at the time? What are battery hens?
I especially like the one with the blinds and the caption "they can still see in. I refrain from doing anything because they could be looking in." The glass and light one is well composed. You have a good eye.
I don't know if you saw any of the photos I have taken when I was at Chad's last summer. Some are ok, most not, but I have added a few to my collection since then. I shoot exclusively film (mostly slides, some B&W prints), though I shoot in 35mm and 4x5 formats. The 4x5 is a TON of fun to use. Really makes you slow down and compose and think about what/how you are shooting. Downside is it is slow. If I set up and shoot in less than 20 minutes, I am making mistakes because of rushing. slow, yes, but very worth it when you get a good frame. I take relatively few pictures with it (for time constraints/costs, more than anything), but when you get a good frame, it is simply incredible. I don't use digital because the image quality for landscapes (most of what I shoot) isn't there yet. I have a little 2MP coolpix that I use for general shooting but I have used it a lot less than I expected I would. Strange that the electrical and computer engineer doesn't use digital... :)
