Could attack on Dalnet mean the end of IRC?
I'm not sure how many of you have seen this or the accompanying theories, but I think there's a high probability that the Dalnet attacks are the result of a frustrated RIAA and MPAA who, knowing that they can't stop IRC file trading on any legal front, have decided to go back door with their attacks. I don't doubt that they'd risk legal action to get rid of the pesky IRC networks...
