here is my blow by blow account for the day.
last night my check finally cashed, so my datek account is ready to go. Plan to trade today. got to school at 9:45 and looked around for the best looking stuff and picked apple, which appeared (and still does) to be heading up. I bought in and watched the price inch from 14.88 to 15.02. I briefly pondered selling at that point, but thought it would keep going up. I would have ended up quitting with no profit(because of commisions), only breaking even, so I stuck with it. In a few moments the price went to 14.86 and I bailed. The price immediate rose back to 15.
GRRRRR.
that one cost me 20 bucks.
I did the same thing AGAIN with Conexant. Thought it would go up. It did, then went down. Sold out. But this time the price stayed there. In all I lost 50 bucks for the day. I need to rethink my strategy. I read the news and it seems EVERYONE lost today. The whole Iraq thing is playing with everyones head.
oh well. I am restrategizing.
hopefully tomorrow will be better.
